Visualisation is a mental technique that uses the imagination to make dreams come true. Used in the right way, visualisation can improve our life and attract success and prosperity. It is a power that can alter our environment and circumstances, cause events to happen, and attract money, possessions, work, people and love into our life. Visualisation uses the power of the mind, and is the power behind every success.
By changing our thoughts and mental images we change our “reality”; we change the “illusory” world we believe we live in. We are not employing magic or supernatural powers when creating and changing our life and circumstances. It is not something “material” that we change; we only change our thoughts, which shape our world. All this is like dreaming a very realistic dream, and then changing the dream.
Your thoughts can come true! Not all thoughts of course, but those that are concentrated, well-defined, and often-repeated often; thus, the benefits of utilizing a vision board. It becomes a tool that allows us to repeatedly impress our thoughts and desires into the formless substance which then responds in kind by bringing forth the manifestation of that concentrated thought.
Personally, I am a big believer in the power of manifesting and using vision boards to help bring to life your dreams & desires. I have had so many positive experiences with using vision boards, I can recollect numerous things that have happened after putting them on my vision board. Sure, there were plenty that didn’t come true either, but what I discovered is the things you really believe will happen, will – and the things that you don’t really believe will happen, don’t. Example: if I put something on my vision board that I desire, but I truly didn’t believe was achievable, lets say, earning $10million this year – well Im not going to manifest this because deep down I don’t really believe it could happen. But if I went for a smaller amount, that I felt was more achievable – well this is believable to me and therefore its easier for me to manifest.
So when creating your vision board, keep in mind these 4 valuable tips:
- Choose words or images that mean something to you
- Ask yourself “what do I really want, who do I want to be, want do I want to have, who do I want to be with, what experiences do I want etc”.
- Make sure you are chasing your dreams – not someone elses
- As above, keep things believable to you
